As always, please do not wear white, and kindly try to avoid black if possible (decreased heat stroke hazard + better for photos given the vibe).

General FAQ

Travel

Once again, thanks to everyone for joining us all the way around the world on our special day. Even though there are no formal wedding activities until the afternoon of Wednesday, September 9th, we highly recommend arriving a few days early if possible in case of flight delays or interruptions.

Visa Requirements

Canadian, American, or Chinese citizens can obtain a 30-day visa for IDR 500,000 (~45 CAD / 30 USD) through one of the following options:

• Visa on Arrival (VoA) at Bali airport
• Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) online at https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/

Requirements for Visa Application

• Passport valid for at least 6 months past date of travel
• Recent color photograph
• Return or onward travel tickets

Accommodations

Unfortunately, we do not have a hotel block arrangement. After reviewing options, we found that independent booking platforms (Expedia, Google, Hotels, Trips, etc.) often offered better pricing.

We also highly encourage booking villas through Airbnb for a true Balinese stay and experience.

Below is a list of hotels within a 30-minute drive of the venue (Stone Villas Uluwatu):

• Seascape Resort & Spa (12 min drive) – ~210 CAD/night

We recommend leaving an extra 20 minutes early in case of traffic, as it can get quite congested.

Ways to Get Around

The easiest and most affordable way to get around is via the Grab phone application (available on App Store, Play Store, and Samsung Store). It is similar to Uber in Southeast Asia.

Another option, especially if visiting multiple attractions throughout the day, is hiring a car and driver. This averages roughly 80 CAD per day (12 hours).
